Responding to a spate of requests from both individual journalists as well as editors for more time to put together their stories and entries for the RedInk Awards, it has been decided to extend the last date for entries to 15th April, 2019.

Journalists with a great broadcast, web or print story are invited to send in their work early in order to be well in time. This year is the 9^th  edition of the RedInk Awards. A new category of 'The Arts' has been added for the first time, with two sub-categories - 'Fine Arts' and 'Performing Arts'.
